When the waves are big, the kids always like a kiddie pool for getting wet without fearing for their lives. The pool was for the babies more than the 4 yr olds, but 4 yr olds liked it too.
This is what one might refer to as safety swimming--no swimming involved.
The water in the pool was probably a lot warmer than the ocean water. She was just hot tubbing. Luke was brave. All he needed was one big wave and he would be swimming!
